Neuromuscular Profiling

Neuromuscular Profiling breaks down how athletes produce, absorb, and transfer force — revealing where performance is gained or lost.

We assess capability across key movements, joints, and positions — specific to your sport.

For teams, we handle the full process across your squad. For individuals, it’s a clear breakdown of how you perform — and where to improve.

What You Get

Elite testing. Expert analysis. Data-informed progression.

Using industry-leading VALD technology, we identify where performance is being lost, where injury risk may be elevated, and what physical qualities need improving. You’ll gain a clear understanding of where you are in your journey — whether that’s Return to Performance or Athletic Development.

Every assessment feeds directly into a structured plan built around your goals, demands, and current stage of development.

You don’t get a sheet of random scores. You get contextualised performance science, translated into a clear and practical plan.

Neuromuscular Testing Types

What are we testing?
Ballistic Jump Tests

Ballistic jump testing evaluates explosive force production and lower body power capabilities through movements such as countermovement jumps and squat jumps.

These tests give insight into how an athlete produces force, movement strategy, asymmetries, and potential performance limitations. They are used throughout both rehabilitation and athletic development to monitor progression, identify bottlenecks in performance, and guide training priorities.

Max strength testing provides highly accurate measurement of force production through both global and joint-specific assessments. This includes specialised hamstring and lower limb testing commonly used within elite sport and rehabilitation settings.

We assess qualities such as peak force, rate of force development, asymmetry, and force production capacity to identify weaknesses, monitor rehabilitation progress, evaluate readiness, and understand what may be limiting performance.

Reactive strength testing evaluates how efficiently you absorbs and reproduces force during fast stretch-shortening movements and landing tasks.

These tests provide insight into ground contact efficiency, lower limb stiffness, movement strategy, compensation patterns, and reactive force capabilities. They are particularly valuable within rehabilitation and return-to-performance settings where landing control, force transfer, and explosive reactivity are critical.

Performance & Development Testing

Why does it matter?

It’s the margin between participation and purposeful improvement, and It’s the difference between basic rehab and confident return to performance.

Small deficits in strength, power, stiffness, force production, or movement quality can have a major impact on performance, rehab outcomes, and long-term progression. Without objective testing, many of these issues go unnoticed.

Performance testing allows us to measure what the body is actually capable of, monitor how it changes over time, and understand whether training or rehabilitation is moving in the right direction.

This creates greater clarity around:

  • What needs improving
  • What is progressing well
  • What may be increasing injury risk
  • And what is required to move confidently into the next stage of development

Whether the goal is return to performance or athletic development, testing provides an accurate starting point, a clearer progression pathway, and a more informed action plan.

Training Insight & Programming

What do we do about it?

We don’t just look at isolated scores or whether a result is “good” or “bad”. We analyse what the data is actually telling us.

This means looking beyond test outcomes alone and understanding how the athlete produces force, absorbs force, moves, compensates, and responds under load. We cross-reference metrics, compare relationships between physical qualities, analyse movement and force-time strategies, and interpret waveform data to build a far more complete picture of performance and rehabilitation status.

This deeper level of analysis allows us to identify:

  • The true limiting factors behind performance
  • Hidden weaknesses and compensation strategies
  • Inefficiencies in movement and force production
  • Whether rehabilitation is progressing appropriately
  • What physical qualities should be prioritised next

From there, testing feeds directly into structured rehabilitation and performance programming built around the athlete’s actual needs, goals, demands, and current stage of development.

The result is more informed decision making, more targeted training, and a clearer pathway through both Return to Performance and Athletic Development.

The Performance Drive

Cross-system analysis

At The Performance Drive, we go beyond isolated testing.

We don’t just collect data — we connect it
  • Integrate cellular health with neuromuscular fatigue markers.
  • Align power output and asymmetry with segmental muscle mass.
  • Use biological insights to validate metabolic performance.
  • Increase the certainty behind every decision.

The result? A complete, unified performance picture. No guesswork. No confusion.

Just clear, actionable direction.

You don’t just get data, you get answers

Built with a mission

To build an industry-shifting athlete performance and rehabilitation platform — making advanced technology accessible, actionable, and impactful for everyone. A system where excellent results are the standard, and elite-level support is no longer out of reach.
